Looking to upgrade the axles on my 1968 IH 1200C 4x4 pickup.

From internet research the 73-85 Chevy/GMC 3/4 ton (D44 and 145 bolt) conversion appears the route to go.

Any thoughts or experience upgrading 1200 axles would be appreciated.

I put 3/4 ton Burb axles under my 69 1010, but that was the square body. They were almost bolt in from what I remember, that was over 25 years ago. I wish I still had that T-all.
