Can anyone identify this engine for me and tell me what it may have come out of?

It looks like a standard 152 for a Scout 80. The numbers you show mean nothing, the real info in on a flat above the passenger engine mount.

Thanks, I will have a look on the passenger mount again. It's still a bit crusty after I pressure washed it.

Here are the only numbers I can find so far. Do these mean anything to you?

Finally found the numbers. It's obvious to me now that I should have been looking for stamped characters rather than embossed ones that where caste with the engine. Oh well. Drivers side engine mount...........unless you are in Australia.....passenger side there. Thanks for the help. Now all I need is the rest of the vehicle.
